Invention Story and History of Development of Arduino

Ron shared this from http://www.circuitstoday.com/story-and-history-of-development-of-arduino

Arduino was an answer to how to teach students to create electronics fast… It was in the year 2002 that Banzi, a software architect by profession, was recruited as an associate professor by IDII in order to promote novel ways of doing interactive design, in other words, physical computing. www.circuitstoday.com

Arduino Day 2019 will be celebrated on Saturday 16th March

Arduino is for everyone, everywhere - there is a way for you to take part in Arduino Day no matter where you are in the world!
If you are lucky enough to be in Milan on Saturday 16th, please come by the Milano Luiss Hub for Makers and Students to celebrate the Official Arduino Day. Not only will you be able to meet our team, there will be plenty of Arduino projects, a talk area, and an activity space for kids.

Not in Milan? Not a problem! You can still make a difference and enjoy the day to the fullest by organizing your own event. Please submit your proposal here by March 3rd, and we’ll send you a complete digital kit to get going.

Alternatively, ever wanted to introduce your project to thousands of Arduino enthusiasts and community members worldwide? well now is your chance...

This year's Arduino Day will also feature a community challenge, showcasing some of the most inspiring and innovative projects across multiple categories. Prizes include boards, hardware, and other goodies valued up to €1,000. enter here

Stay tuned over the next few weeks as we will be providing updates on the Official Arduino Day agenda. In the meantime, don’t forget to apply on the Arduino Day website and share your celebration on social media using the hashtag #ArduinoD19

MAKE EVERY DAY AN ARDUINO DAY
LOVE OPEN-SOURCE AND WANT TO BE A PART OF SHARING THE LOVE AROUND THE WORLD? WELL NOW YOU CAN...
ARDUINO IS NOW HIRING FOR MULTIPLE POSITIONS IN OUR TURIN AND MALMO OFFICES, AS WELL AS SALES ROLES AROUND THE GLOBE.
